Engpiso integrates ‘Innovation and Sustainability in the Global Value Chains’.

A Dream place for any innovation company, Silicon Valley in San Francisco, United States, was visited at the end of April by representatives of 10 micro and small companies, that participated  in the Innovation and Sustainability in the Global Chains Of Value (Global ICV) Project, a partnership between GVces and Apex-Brasil. Among those 10 companies was the  Engpiso, that  is also incubated in the Bahia Technological Park.

At the opportunity, the consultant Fabian Diniz and the Engpiso’s CEO, Raymundo Dórea, together with other professionals participating in the Mission, were in the offices of the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil) and on  the largest worldwide research centers in the segment of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Internet of Things (IoT).

In the course of this mission, the companies had the opportunity to participate in mentoring at Google, visiting the Universities of California at Berkeley and Stanford, and talking to entrepreneurs and investors about  topics such as venture capital for green companies, women entrepreneurship and urban sustainability, besides meeting Brazilian startups installed in the Valley.

This action facilitates the access of Brazilian companies to international markets and diversifies the destinations of Brazilian exports. There is also the possibility of positioning Brazilian companies internationally as important trading partners. “In a journey of prospecting new business, sharing the pain and ideas with a mentor, become  the process of evolution of the startup painless, as well as measurable and plausible results,” said Fabian Diniz.

The mission is the result of the joint efforts of Apex-Brasil and the Center for Sustainability Studies of the São Paulo Business School of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (GVces).
